Sounding Florida Program

Sunday, December 20th (3-4 p.m.)

South Florida Science Center and Aquarium
4801 West Dreher Trail North
West Palm Beach, FL  33405

all ages

You're invited to participate in a Sounding Florida program at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, in celebration of the Winter Solstice. Led by Dan Godston.
  • We begin at the Cox Amphitheater on the outdoor Science Trail—and go on a soundwalk along an outside path, while using safe physical distancing (10-15 min.).
  • We return to the Cox Amphitheater, where we talk about what we experienced while on our soundwalk.
  • Participants create soundwalk-inspired haiku and mixed media pieces.
This program is included in general Science Center admission. To participate, just meet us in the backyard by the Cox Amphitheater by 3 p.m.
