| This year the Borderbend Arts Collective presents several programs that resonate with Project Passenger Pigeon. When a passenger pigeon named Martha died at the Cincinnati Zoo in 1914, the passenger pigeon became an extinct species. Centenary projects marking the extinction of the passenger pigeon are being coordinated around the world, and we're glad that Borderbend is participating in this yearlong commemoration.
